Pandul TipTop Wall Lamp

Tip Top pendant lamp by Jørgen Gammelgaard | Pandul

The Tip Top lamp from Pandul is a real eye-catcher with no fewer than six handmade lampshades. These hang
in a vertical line above each other and thus give a special light experience to the living room, kitchen or office.
This lamp is flexible in use and suitable for many rooms to create a pleasant atmosphere. Mount the Tip Top for example
in the living room on the wall next to the sofa or above a sideboard.
Due to the combination of colors and use of materials, this lamp hangs beautifully in a modern interior.

Jorgen Gammelgaard

Jørgen Gammelgaard belonged to a generation of skilled furniture designers who all learned their trade in the old Danish learning tradition.
After his apprenticeship, Gammelgaard studied with Grete Jalk and then became a student at the furniture school of the Danish
Royal Academy where he worked under Poul Kjærholm and Ole Wanscher.
Gammelgaard later worked in the design studios of Arne Jacobsen, Mogens Koch, Steen Eiler Rasmussen and Jørgen Bo.
During this period he also did consultancy work for the UN in Samoa, where he designed his famous Tip-Top lampshade.
Jørgen Gammelgaard was the first designer to receive the annual awards from both the Danish Design Council and the
Council for Arts and Crafts.
In 1987 he was appointed professor of furniture design at the Danish Royal Academy.
