Unikko Tealight holders 60th Anniversary Box

A special edition of the Marimekko Unikko flower shaped plates. The two small plates come
in a 60th Anniversary box, a specially designed gift box to celebrate the 60th anniversary
of the iconic Unikko flower.

This set of flower shaped plates is made of stoneware and have a size of 13 cm. One plate
is made of brown stoneware and the other is made of white stoneware. Both plates
have a golden metallic detail in the middle.
Due to the golden details and the unique shape of the plates, we recommend washing them by hand.

This set celebrates the 60th anniversary of the Unikko pattern and the plates feature the embossed anniversary stamp on the bottom.

The 60th anniversary box makes the Unikko plates extra fun to give as a gift for various occasions
such as a birthday,
as a wedding gift, a housewarming or as a Christmas gift.

Marimekko Unniko Pattern

When Marimekko's founder Armi Ratia banned flower patterns, Maija Isola rebelled.
She was was fascinated by the theme of flowers and decided to create a complete collection
of graphic, pop-art-inspired floral fabrics. Among them the famous poppy flower pattern
Unikko (1964), which has been continuously printed since its launch.
