Chair Model 57 | Niels O. Møller

Model 57 is one of the first dining room chairs that Niels Otto Møller designed in the series of "the new modern".
The dining chair in oak or beech has all the hallmarks of Niels Moller's craftsmanship and has been made
in Møbelfabrik J.L. Møller since its design in 1959.
The construction of the frame consists of strong connections; the wooden pegs interlock at each corner of the seat.
This ensures that a cross connection between the chair legs is no longer necessary.
The Model 57 has a flat wooden back rest with armrests, for long comfortable dining sessions.
Thanks to its ingenious design and organic shape, the chair is very comfortable.
Like most Møller chairs, the seat can be supplied with paper cord or upholstered with
a wide variety of fabrics or leather. Please contact us if you prefer upholstery.

In addition to Model 57, N.O. Møller has designed Model 77.
This is the same chair but without armrests.

Møllers Møbelfabrik & quality

J.L. Møllers Møbelfabrik has a very high quality standard. The Danish furniture makers are daily
to work with original machines and they do a lot of manual work. Møller is not about fast
production. Therefore, please take into account a delivery time of 10 weeks for chairs with armrests.

Model 57 comes in oak with a soap, oil or lacquer finish.
Smoked oak is also available.
The variant in teak or walnut has an oiled or laquered finish. (last 3 pictures chair in teak wood with oil finish.)
The seat comes in natural paper cord and is optionally available with black paper cord.
In addition, upholstery with textile from Kvadrat or leather is possible. Please contact us if upholstery is prefered.
