Lounge chair Model 107, or MO 107, was designed in the 1950s and originally produced by Magnus Olesen in 1956.
Based on the original design and craftsmanship, the chair has been relaunched in a classic version in oak and teak
with fabric and leather upholstery.
The details of the chair reflect the famous, classic design of the time, known as Danish Modern. The chair represents
Ib Kofod-Larsen's approach at its best: designing a somewhat thick, comfortable armchair which also incorporates elegant, minimalist
details.
These details in the work of Ib Kofod-Larsen speak for themselves and give the Model 107 lounge chair the extra appeal which makes
this chair is so eye-catching. The armrests come in contrasting teak optionally and are beautifully organically shaped. In the frame, which tilts backwards a bit,
an exciting effect is created at every connection due to the way in which the wooden parts connect to each other
and the omission of material.
The chair legs are tapered. The hind legs also form the back rest and are steam bent at the top.
The model has been refreshed and made suitable for design enthusiasts with a preference for solid colors. The MO 107 is therefore
in addition to the teak and oak variants, available in beech in the colors black, gray and terracotta.
By doing this, a true classic is made suitable for applications in contemporary interiors.

Various upholstery options are available for the MO 107 armchair by Magnus Olesen. Think of textiles from, among others
Kvadrat, Gabriel and Camira and leather from Sørensen and Ca-Mo.
The oak of the chair is transparent lacquered, stained black, oiled naturally, treated with white-pigmented oil or with soap.
Oak has a grain structure that is always visible and tangible.
Teak is always treated with natural oil. This also applies to the armrests.
Beech is available in the colors grey, black and terracotta. The grain structure of beech will not or hardly be visible.
The buttons on the backrest cushion can be optionally added, as well as floor glides for a hard or soft floor.
Model 107 from Magnus Olesen can be ordered online here with textile upholstery from Kvadrat, model Hallingdal 65. Check out
the Kvadrat website and enter the prefered color number when ordering.
If buttons are also ordered, they come in the samen fabric but may have a different color if desired.
Or opt for Sørensen leather Dunes or Savanne. Please check the Sørensen website and fill in the name and number of the prefered color
with your order.
If leather buttons are ordered they will come in the same color.
In addition to the MO107 chair, Magnus Olesen also produces the MO107 two-seater sofa and the MO107 three-seater sofa.
With this seating furniture a beautiful lounge area can be created the way Ib Kofod-Larsen had in mind.
In the series, he also designed the MO107 coffee table.
Combine the MO107 series with a beautiful rug such as Houkime from Menu and the Louis Poulsen AJ floor lamp.
For example, decorate the coffee table with a special bowl or vase from Cor Unum and hang the Moon pendant lamp from Verpan above it..
Magnus Olesen has been combining functionality, comfort and durability in beautiful Danish Design since 1937. This is reflected in furniture
for residential interiors and garden furniture as well as offices and furniture in healthcare. Models come from designers like Ib Kofod Larsen,
Niels Gammelgaard, Strand & Hvass, Says Who and for example Rud Thygesen & Johnny Sørensen.
Production takes place in Denmark.
