The GE1 lounge chair and Daybed in one, is a pure Wegner classic from the golden age of furniture art.
Wegner's unique ability to unite wood and steel in an organic object is clearly seen in GE1's expression.
Its ingenious and well-thought-out design means that it can be used as a chair, chaise longue and sofa, as the head/ back rest can be adjusted to several positions.
In 2018, Getama re-launched the GE1, with an untreated solid oak wood frame, which can be finished with soap, oil, laquer or colored stain.
The upholstery is in either leather or textile.
The pillows are filled with foam.
