The 1959 Credenza is based on the original drawings by Hans J. Wegner from his series of three sideboards.
Carl Hansen started production of this sideboard in 2014 in honor of Hans Wegner's 100th birthday.
When the two roller shutter doors in the CH825 sideboard are pushed aside, they disappear invisibly behind the interior with shelves
and finely crafted drawers. The inside of the credenza remains fully accessible. When the sideboard is closed, the doors form a quiet,
continuous veneer surface showing the vertical grain structure nicely.
The handles are available in wood or stainless steel.
The interior of Wegner's Credenza features a combination of shelves and pull-out drawers, which provide a convenient storage space
that can be used for various purposes.
This wall unit is divided into three compartments, of which the outer two have two shelves and the middle part has four drawers.
The shelf height can be adjusted as desired.
The sideboard can be ordered with round solid wooden legs that match most of Wegner's chairs and tables or with a curved steel frame
which is also used in his CH100 series.
Due to the various options, the CH825 can perfectly be used in different interior styles. Place this sideboard along the wall or let it
divide space like a room divider. The Credenza follows the important principle of Hans J. Wegner, that a piece of furniture should be beautiful
from any point of view.
The Credenza is available in two types of wood. The CH825 in oak is optionally treated with natural oil or white oil.
The walnut version is treated with natural oil.

Combining the Carl Hansen CH825 sideboard
This sideboard by Carl Hansen & Søn with wooden legs can be combined nicely with the Vita Sofa
and the Ring Chair by Nanna Ditzel from Getama.
A comfortable carpet such as Circle Rug and the Pelican coffee table, both from House of Finn Juhl, completes a nice,
warm seating area.
When choosing the stainless steel frame, a tighter image is created. The CH100 series with an armchair,
sofas with two, three or four seats and a glass-topped coffee table follows the Credenza design.
A nice plain rug like Gravel from Audo Copenhagen softens the atmosphere.
