OW449 Colonial Coffee Table | Carl Hansen & Son

The Colonial Table is part of the Colonial series by Ole Wanscher. Together with the Colonial Chair, Colonal Sofa and Colonial footstool it is a
complete, beautiful and stylish furniture set. The Colonial furniture is made of solid oak or walnut.
The simple design of this classic coffee table supports the look of the Colonial Series and creates a natural and calm image as the focal point.

Materials |
The OW449 coffee table is available with a walnut or oak frame and has a veneered table top.
The oak is optionally treated with lacquer, oil or white oil or sprayed in black, whereby the wood structure remains visible.
The Colonial in walnut can be finished with oil or lacquer.

Scandinavian design table

The Dane Ole Wanscher initially designed the Colonial Chair in 1949. The coffee table and the two-seater sofa were not designed until 1964.
The name "Colonial" refers to Wanscher's fascination with 1700-century English Colonial furniture design.
Combine the Colonial series with, for example, a beautiful plain rug by Finn Juhl and lighting by Louis Poulsen.
