Verpan Fun DM10

The large Verpan Fun DM10 lamp was designed in 1964 by Verner Panton. The Fun DM10 pendant lamp consists of four metal rings, finished in chrome or brass.
The Fun lamps are made of natural, cultivated shells that are connected to each other with stainless steel rings,
thus concealing the light source. An atmospheric, diffuse light shines through the thin shells.
Please note that it takes some effort and time to attach the mother-of-pearl shell discs when the lamp is hanging.
In addition to a Verpan certificate of authenticity, a number of spare shells and rings are included.
All Fun pendant lamps are available with a brass or chrome finish with a matching ceiling cap.

Verner Panton Fun Collection

Many regard the Fun collection as one of Verner Panton’s greatest masterpieces in the field of lighting design.
Ever since 1964, this pendant lamp has kindled joy and a wealth of stories.
The idea for Fun came from Panton’s desire to design a lamp, that would cast a diffused light, and have an
optimal effect in a coloured interior.
In terms of materials, Panton originally worked with metal discs but was curious to create something brand
new and during a visit to Malaysia,
he found what he was looking for: delicate seashells with a vibrant, pearly texture.
When the air set them in motion, they produced the most exquisite, delicate sound.
Today, the Fun collection is available in a wide variety of finishes, sizes and includes pendants, floor, table and wall lamps.
