The Turning Tray from the Danish brand Architectmade was designed in 1956 by Finn Juhl.
It's bearing his trademark curved teak frame with precise corner joints.
Made without handle bars, the tray’s curvature allows space to pick it up.
Designed as dual-sided, the Turning Tray boasts two glossy laminate sides in different colours.
One side always is black. The other side is made in Kimono red, Angel Blue, Huskey Green or Alaska White.
This way you can use the serving tray on both sides;the Turning tray is of course also beautiful
as a display for other beautiful items.
The handmade Turning Tray exactly meets Finn Juhl’s specifications, with curves,
colors and discreet details that all reveal his fantastic sense for design.

The exclusive tray comes in a beautiful gift box and has a laser-engraved signature in the teak wood.

Design by Finn Juhl

Finn Juhl is one of the most successful Danish designers of the 1950s. He is known for his bold, sculptural forms and ultra-refined detailing.
Juhl's work had a great influence on the following generations of Scandinavian design.
He went on to design the Trusteeship Council Chamber at the United Nations Headquarters in New York, as a gift from Denmark to the UN.
His most famous quote: “One cannot create happiness with beautiful objects, but one can ruin quite a lot of happiness with bad ones.”
