The 8000 series dining chair is a design icon produced by Magnus Olesen since 1981. The furniture is based on unique and
patented production technology without the use of screws and dowels, which makes the furniture incredibly strong
and flexible despite its low weight.
Many Danes have grown up with this Series 8000 chair through its use in schools and other public interiors
such as restaurants and institutions.

In 2021, Magnus Olesen brought 80s design to life with a relaunch of the iconic 8000 series chair in 9 new colours.
These expressive retro colors are the choices of the chair's designers Rud Thygesen and Johnny Sørensen,
complemented by muted colors in the trend of the time.

The MO8000 Series consists of a chair and a stool. They are both stackable and are optionally provided with a textile or leather cushion.

Materials |
The MO8002 chair and MO8000 stool by Magnus Olesen are produced in beech, available in 9 high gloss retro colours: orange, red, pink, yellow, mint, blue,
beige, gray and black.
The seat is available in wood, laminate in the standard colors white, grey, graphite or oak and linoleum in the standard colors beige grey, gray or black.
Other colors are optionally available or the chair or stool can be fitted with a cushion upholstered with textile or leather.
The MO8000 chair and stool are also available in oak, which has been treated with transparent lacquer, natural oil or white oil, soaped or stained black.

Various upholstery options are available. Think of textiles by, among others, Kvadrat, Gabriel and Camira and leather from Sørensen and Ca-Mo.

Combining the Magnus Olesen MO8002 chair

The MO8002 chair and the MO8000 stool are practically applicable in smaller spaces due to their compact dimensions.
Combine them with, for example, the Magnus Olesen Freya dining table or Slender dining table.
Or place these chairs at a round dining table such as the Getama GE526 or Carl Hansen E020.
