Yuh Table Lamp Brass & Marble | Louis Poulsen

The Yuh table lamp by Louis Poulsen was designed in 2017 by the Danish Italian design duo GamFratesi.
This iF Gold Award winner is special in appearance and technology.
The table lamp has a mechanical system that makes it easy to move the shade up and down the arm.
In addition, the angle of the hood can be adjusted to optimize light distribution. This freedom of movement ensures
that the light can always be set to the ideal position in the workspace or living room.
This allows the Yuh lamp to be used for many different functions, such as for reading a news paper at a table, as a desk lamp or to illuminate a side table in the livingroom.

The fixture provides glare-free, downward light. The narrow opening at the top of the hood provides a soft, upward-facing ambient lighting.
The built-in LED lamp provides high lighting quality and is infinitely dimmable.
In addition, the table lamp has a timer function to automatically switch off the light after four or eight hours.

The Yuh family consists of a floor lamp, a table lamp and a wall lamp and is available in the colors black and white or brass with a black or white hood and a marble base in black or white.

GamFratesi for Louis Poulsen

The Danish Italian design duo GamFratesi designed Yuh for Louis Poulsen in 2017 as a floor lamp, table lamp and wall lamp.
Sparkling use of materials ensures that Yuh has the essential features for a personal appearance. The combinations of
black, white and brass and aluminum with marble are stunning.
The minimalist, geometric look is created by a round shape at the bottom and the transition to a linear opening
at the top of the hood.
The name Yuh is the phonetic form of 'you', the letters that represent the sound the voice makes to say 'you'.
In 2018 Yuh won the Gold Award from iF Industrial Forum Design.
