The 12-person Weltevree Forestry Table is made of untreated Douglas wood from the Dutch forests that are sustainably managed by Staatsbosbeheer. 
These woods are also used for recreational purposes.
Douglas wood is very durable and changes untreated to a characteristic silver-grey color.
The table top is made of two connected planks. Each plank is made from a single piece of wood,
even for the 12-seater table (approximately 4 meters long). There are
therefore no breaks in the length of the table top.
The Forestry Table has a smart bow tie connection made of weather-resistant steel. These keep the beauty of the wood intact and bring nature to the garden, hallway or dining room.
The Forestry Table is available in two styles: Raw or Refined. Both versions are made of untreated Douglas wood. The Raw version
has natural edges that show the shape of the tree and shows signs of the original bark.
The Refined version has straight sanded edges for a refined look.
