KK47000 Safari Armchair | Carl Hansen & Son

With the KK47000 Safari armchair, furniture architect Kaare Klint effortlessly transformed a historical archetype into a modern
folding chair. The Safari Chair is available in original canvas or supple quality leather and can therefore be used in various interior styles.
Due to the possibilities of use, it is also a practical piece of seating furniture in, for example, holiday homes.
Inspired by its predecessor from the British Army, Kaare Klint redesigned the chair with his signature systematic
approach. This is visible in refined craftsmanship, well-thought-out proportions and remarkable material effects.

Materials |
This beautiful Safari chair has a light, natural look due to the used ash wood that has been treated with white pigmented oil (black is not available anymore).
The fabric for the Safari armchair is available in natural canvas (100% linen) or semi aniline leather in four colours: black (Thor 301), cognac (Thor 307),
light brown (Thor 325) and red (Thor 332).
The armchair comes with a padded cushion. The armrests are made of sturdy, smooth saddle leather.

All leather parts and upholstery are replaceable and available on request.

The KK97170 Safari Stool was designed by Esben Klint, Kaare Klint's son. It fits seamlessly with the Safari Chair.
This comfortable footstool can be ordered optionally.
