FH419 Heritage Armchair | Carl Hansen & Son

The Carl Hansen & Søn Heritage Lounge chair was designed in 1930 by Frits Henningsen. The warmth and elegance
of this armchair are so inviting that the FH419 chair will quickly become the favorite seat in any room.
With the pursuit of perfection and the predilection for natural materials, Henningsen created a relax chair that
immediately evokes the atmosphere of tranquility.
The perfect result is also reflected in the craftsmanship with which the furniture makers at Carl Hansen & Son
make the chair.
As you can see in the video, upholstering this armchair has already taken 10 hours of manual work.

The Heritage armchair is available in fabric or leather with legs in oak or walnut, treated with colorless lacquer or oil.

You can order the optional FH420 footstool in the same version.
Of course you can compose your own preference.

The FH419 Heritage armchair by Carl Hansen & Søn has a frame made of solid beech wood.
You can choose from a finish with soap, oil, lacquer, white oil or black for the oak legs of the armchair.
If you opt for chair legs in walnut, the finish in oil or lacquer is available.
Kvadrat textile in four qualities or leather in three qualities.

Carl Hansen & Søn pays a lot of attention to selecting suitable materials. The types of wood and the treatments it will
undergone must match the requirements that the designer has set for the furniture. Such are the Danish oaks used by Carl Hansen & Søn
between 150 and 250 years old and American walnut wood is on average about 150 years old before it is harvested.
Fabrics and leather come in various variants and always of good quality.
