Bear Armchair | Farstrup

The Bear series from Farstrup provides solid support for the spine and back. The comfortable and distinctive armrests provide good grip and
complete the feeling of simply sitting well. The series was designed by Erik Simonsen mDD & Justus Kolberg. They have based the Farstrup Bear on
classic Danish design and inspiration from wild nature.

There are three models:
The Bear 6500 Lounge with a low backrest
The Big Bear 6501 Bariatric with a load capacity of 250 kg.
The Bear 6510 Relax armchair with a high, adjustable backrest
And there is also a footstool available with an appropriate name, the Farstrup Cub

When ordering online, we offer you the option to choose the beautiful Hallingdal 65 fabric from Kvadrat (fabric group C) or
the beautiful, soft and supple Savanne semi-aniline leather from Sørensen.

Materials |
The Farstrup Bear is made of high-quality materials. With a frame made of solid oak from Northern Europe, the focus is on use
of materials that can last for years. The solid oak frame is available untreated, naturally lacquered, natural or white oiled and also comes in transparent,
brown or black stain.
The chairs from the Bear series are offered in a wide choice of quality textiles, artificial leather or genuine leather in numerous colours,
matching the interior and use of the chairs.

Customization options |
The seat height can be adjusted as desired from 30 to 51 cm.
Model Bear 6500L can be supplied with a width of 82 cm. Model Big Bear 6501 looks like Model 6500 Lounge but has a load capacity of 250 kg.
If you are searching for a chair with a heavier load capacity, you could take the Farstrup Fastoflex in consideration. It's suitable to carry 450 kg.
Farstrup gives a 10-year warranty on the wooden frame.

Farstrup Cub 6595 Footstool |
The matching Cub footstool is available for the Bear armchairs. The comfortable cushion of this bench is 2 cm lower than the seat height
of the armchair and thus offers ideal and very nice support for the legs.

Farstrup Furniture

The chair is handmade by experienced craftsmen in Farstrup's own factory on the Danish island of Funen.
By collaborating with specially selected designers, this furniture manufacturer can look back on a history
of more than 110 years, for a breath of fresh air in her designs.

Senior chair or stand up chair from Farstrup

When considering a senior chair or a stand-up chair, also consider Farstrup. This Danish manufacturer is a real specialist and makes individually adjustable chairs
and ergonomic armchairs of the highest quality. Operation can be carried out manually or with electric motors.
Furthermore, the chairs can be equipped with options such as wheels and inflatable lumbar support and a dining tray or coffee tray is available.
