Cirque Pendant | Louis Poulsen

The Cirque pendant has the appearance of a lively play between colors and shapes, inspired by the balloons and carousels, colors
and lighting at the Tivoli amusement park in Copenhagen. The idea arose there, during a meeting of designers from Louis Poulsen.
The experience of colors in circular movements, in which the colors are often perceived as continuous lines, is caught in Cirque
by designer Clara von Zweigbergk.
The shape of this enchanting pendant lamp is inspired by the famous onion-shaped domes that can be seen on several buildings in the
Tivoli Park.
This hanging lamp has white, reflective lacquer on the inside. This provides a downward glare-free soft light.

The nice shape, different sizes and the choice of color composition make the Cirque hanging lamp well applicable in different places
at home. The four choices in color combination ensure an easy connection with the existing interior.
The Cirque hangs nicely in a row above a long table. Or for example, choose a cluster of the three sizes above a round table and hang them
playfully at different heights.
Other places where the Cirque hangs beautifully is above a kitchen island or in a cheerful children's room.

Clara von Zweigbergk for Louis Poulsen

The Swedish Clara von Zweigbergk followed her design education in Stockholm and Pasadena in the US and has since
worked for various design studios and advertising agencies.
Cirque is a series of light fixtures that she has specially developed in collaboration with Louis Poulsen. In this series she combines her
many areas of interest.
Clara von Zweigbergk has received several design awards, such as the Wallpaper Design Award 2012 and Swedish Design Award 2012.
