The Carl Hansen & Son CH445 Wing armchair was designed by Hans Wegner in 1960.
The CH445 is the ultimate relax chair and has stood the test of time. This makes the armchair another example of the designer qualities
by this famous furniture architect.
In 1960 the Wing Chair was made in a limited edition, but in 2006 Carl Hansen & Søn took this armchair back into production.
The legs are slightly higher at the front than at the back and therefore offer a wonderfully relaxed position. The Wing Armchair is very
comfortable. Due to the shape of the seat and the height of the backrest, you can sit in multiple positions with always the right support for your shoulders,
neck and back. The result is a natural sitting position that you will certainly enjoy!
The CH445 Wing Chair is optionally available with the matching CH446 footstool for extra comfort.
This beautiful chair can be given its own place in the house as an object, for example in combination with the CH415 coffee table.

The CH445 Wing Chair was designed by Hans J. Wegner in a series of lounge furniture including the CH468 Oculus Chair,
the CH446 footstool and the CH415 coffee table. This furniture is suitable for use in both modern homes as in offices.
Hans J. Wegner is widely regarded as one of the leading figures in 20th century interior design and was a driving force in the
"Danish Modern" movement that changed the view of furniture in the 1950s and 1960s.
