The BM1160 Hunting Table by Børge Mogensen is a modern dining table with a chic appearance;
made by Carl Hansen & Søn in oak or walnut.
The Hunting dining table has a width of 82 cm, which is slightly narrower than most tables, making the dining room table
suitable for smaller spaces.
Furthermore, the BM1160 table is built for frequent use; the rounded corners and edges are made of solid wood.
Stability is ensured by the use of two diagonal metal brackets connecting the table top and the frame
connect with an aesthetic effect.
Further detailing, such as the mortise and tenon joints on the legs which are made in contrasting wood,
accentuate the handmade expression of the table.
The metal parts are available in stainless steel or brass.

Material |
The BM1160 Huntsman Table comes with an oak or walnut veneer table top and an edge in solid wood.
The legs come in the same wood as the table top. A mix version is available with walnut table top and oak legs.
The metal parts are available in stainless steel or brass. The oak table is finished with oil, laquer or white oil.
The walnut and mix version are finished in oil or laquer.

Børge Mogensen's Hunting table

Børge Mogensen designed the BM1160 Hunting Table for the Copenhagen Cabinetmakers’ Guild Furniture
Exhibition in 1950. The table combines excellent woodwork with elegant metal brace bars, creating a bold and organic whole.
The BM1160 Hunting Table was made by Børge Mogensen. The name refers to the “Hunting Cabin” theme
of the Guild’s exhibition, a detail which is also reflected in the table’s robustness and wood-focused design.
