The 500 series coffee tables were designed in 1958 by Finn Juhl for France & Son. The table represents a style that became very typical
for Scandinavian furniture from the middle of the 20th century.
The 500 Table is manufactured in solid oak or walnut and is available in two sizes.
This signature Midcentury design has delicate and refined details. Look, for example, at how the raised edge flows smoothly into the table top and
how the ends of this edge are bevelled. Or how the table legs are shaped. They are tapered and crafted on the inside so that
a natural joining is created with the load-bearing part under the table top. And of course Finn Juhl has ensured in this design that
the connections fit together perfectly.

This Finn Juhl coffee table with its classic aesthetic fits into almost any interior. The tables, one narrow and long, the other almost square are both
generous in size and offer plenty of space to place snacks and drinks for cozy lounging together. For example, combine the 500 Table with the

No concessions are possible with regard to the use of materials for the furniture by Finn Juhl. You can count on the best quality in fabrics,
leather and wood.
The 500 Table is made of solid oak or walnut. The table in oak is treated with a transparent or dark oil and lacquered black or
comes smoked.
This lounge table in solid walnut will be finished with oil.

Finn Juhl Organic Danish Design

The Danish modernist Finn Juhl may have been the designer with which organic forms are most visible in his furniture design.
Like other modernist pioneers, Juhl started from scratch with no role models or hereditary limitations.
He designed by measuring and analyzing his own body and how the individual parts of the chair should support the human body.
And unlike his contemporaries, with their streamlined, scaffold-like structures, Juhl strove for a more organic,
natural shape.
The potential strength of the wood was used to the maximum, just like it occurs during the natural growth process of a tree.
As Finn Juhl translated his ideas into bold, smooth joinery where every element of the design flows seamlessly into another,
he also set very high standards for the furniture makers who had to make the design.
The result is visible in beautifully refined, sculptural and iconic work that has been supplied exclusively by House of Finn Juhl
since its restart in 2001.
